Is the Kim Kardashian Diet and Workout Routine Healthy?

As one of the most photographed women in the world it’s not surprising that Kim Kardashian’s diet and workout routine are the subject of headlines. But is it really healthy? We asked two experts to share their thoughts.

Kim was the subject of controversy last year after she confessed that she lost weight to fit into a dress worn Marilyn Monroe. Her diet has since changed a bit healthier.

Breakfast

Kim Kardashian, despite the occasional cookie she is a firm believer in eating a balanced diet and regularly exercising to keep her body in shape. She has tried numerous diets throughout her life but in recent months, she switched to a vegan diet and converted her sisters to the same diet.

Kim is a huge fan of eggs, fruits, and green juices for breakfast. Kim also loves avocado toast, pancakes with blueberry oatmeal and a bowl of cereal.

Kim takes fish or chicken with a variety of vegetables and the occasional berry for lunch. She also eats avocados as well as healthy fats such as olive oils and nuts. She is a regular drinker of water and is cautious about drinking sweet drinks. She is often carrying a water bottle to ensure she is hydrated throughout her day. This is especially important because she frequently works out. Her workouts include strength training, cardio, and HIIT exercises. She also likes Pilates yoga, yoga, and other forms of exercise.

Lunch

Kim Kardashian loves plant-based foods. The KKW Beauty mogul has shared many delicious vegetarian meals with her followers on social media. Her diet that is low in carbs has helped her lose baby weight, she recently revealed.

Despite her love for sweets however, the reality star does not cut out all sweets or fatty foods. Instead, she utilizes the balance of calorie control and regular exercise to maintain her body.

Dinner

The 42-year old recently was in the news after sharing a photo of her new snack obsession on Twitter. The snap showed strings of carrots and celery sticks arranged on ice alongside a bowl of hummus.

Like her sister Khloe in the pantry The Keeping Up With the Kardashians actress keeps her hummus and vegetables in glass jars. The jars have been neatly stacked and lined up at the same height.

The remainder of the snack drawer is filled with a variety of organic, high-protein bars and snacks. There is also a jar of chia seed that is neatly placed in a row on the shelf. Kourtney stays healthy by preparing meals such as turkey chili or vegetable soup on Sundays and storing the leftovers for the next week. She will also cook healthier chicken tenders that she stores in the freezer to be used during busy days.
