Is the Kim Kardashian Diet and Workout Routine Healthy?

Kim Kardashian is among the world’s most photographed women so it’s not too surprising that her diet and exercise routines are often in the news. But is it good for you? We spoke with two experts for their opinions.

In the year 2000, Kim sparked concern after admitting that she lost weight to fit into a dress worn by Marilyn Monroe. Her diet has changed since the time she made that admission.

Breakfast

Aside from the occasional cookie, Kim Kardashian is a fan of a well-balanced diet and regularly works out to keep her body in shape. She has tried a variety of diets over the years but in recent months, she went vegan and also influenced her sisters to it too.

She is a fan of eggs, fruits and green juices as breakfast. Kim is also known for her avocado smears on toast, pancakes (especially blueberry oatmeal) and cereal.

For lunch, Kim usually eats fish, chicken, or turkey along with a variety of veggies and fruits. She also eats avocados and healthy fats such as nuts and olive oils. She consumes plenty of fluids and avoids drinks that are sweet. She is often carrying her water bottle to keep herself hydrated throughout the day. This is especially important because she often works out. Her workouts include strength training, cardio and HIIT exercises. She also likes Pilates as well as yoga and other forms of exercise.

Lunch

Kim Kardashian is a fan of plant-based eats. The KKW Beauty mogul has shared many delicious vegetarian meals with her fans on social media. Recently, she revealed that her diet based on carbs has helped her lose weight from her baby.

The reality star does not cut out all sweets or unhealthy food choices despite her sweet tooth. She keeps her figure in check by balancing calorie control with regular exercise.

When it comes to lunch, Kim Kardashian loves vegan tacos and salads. She also adores a meal loaded with protein, such as fish, chicken or avocado on toast.

Dinner

As a billionaire who uses cards, Kim has the world’s most skilled surgeons, chefs and personal trainers on speed dial. Kim also has a smokin’ hot body that inspires us all, yet her diet and workout routine have been the subject of debate.

Kim lost 60 pounds over the last few months after she had her son Saint. She attributes her success to the strict Atkins Diet for this. According to her nutritionist the diet that is low in carbs helped her lose weight and keep it off.

She loves to eat eggs or fish, as well as chicken with lots of vegetables and healthy fats like avocado and nuts. She also enjoys snacking on berries and small portions of fast food when she’s wanting something sweet.

She reportedly works out seven days a week beginning at 6 am. She performs cardio exercises such as agility ladder jumps and rope workouts. She also focuses on muscle building by doing a lot of strength-training. She tries to stay away from sugar in order to maintain a slim, healthy figure.

Snacks

Kim’s diet is, while healthy and nutritious, does include some junk food. The 42-year old caused some controversy on Twitter after sharing a photo of her new favorite snack. The photo showed strings of celery sticks and carrots placed on ice, alongside the bowl of hummus.

Like her sister Khloe in the pantry, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians actress keeps her hummus and vegetables in glass jars. The jars are placed and stacked at an equal height.

The remainder of the box is filled with organic bars and other snacks that are high in protein. She also has a jar with chia seeds that is neatly stacked on the shelf. Kourtney is able to stay healthy by preparing meals such as turkey chili or vegetable soup on Sundays, and then storing them for the week following. She will also make a healthier version chicken tenders which she stores in the freezer for use on busy days.
