Is the Kim Kardashian Diet and Workout Routine Healthy?

As one of the most photographed women in the world It’s not a surprise that Kim Kardashian’s diet and exercise routines are often the subject of news. But is it healthy for you? We spoke to two experts for their thoughts.

In the year 2000, Kim sparked concern after confessing that she had lost weight to fit into a dress worn by Marilyn Monroe. Her diet has changed since her last post.

Breakfast

Kim Kardashian, despite the occasional cookies, is a strong believer in eating a balanced diet and regularly exercising to keep her body in shape. Kim Kardashian has tried many diets over the years but, in recent times, she switched to a vegan diet and converted her sisters to the same diet.

She is a fan of eggs, fruits and green juices for breakfast. Kim is also known for her avocado smears on toast pancakes, avocado on toast (especially blueberry oatmeal), and cereal.

Kim eats fish or chicken alongside a variety of vegetables and the occasional berry for lunch. Also, she eats avocado and healthy fats like nuts and olive oil. She drinks lots of water and avoids sweet drinks. She carries a water bottle with her to keep hydrated. This is especially important as she works out often. Her workouts include cardio, strength training and HIIT exercises. She also likes Pilates and yoga.

Lunch

Kim Kardashian is a fan of plant-based eats. The KKW Beauty mogul has shared plenty of delicious veggie-centric meals with her fans on social media. She recently admitted that her diet of low-carbohydrate has helped her lose weight after having a baby.

Despite her sweet tooth however, the reality star isn’t averse to eating candy or fatty foods. She maintains her physique by balancing her calorie intake with regular exercise.

When it is time for lunch, Kim Kardashian loves vegan tacos and salads. She also enjoys meals packed with protein, like fish, chicken, or avocado on toast.

Dinner

Kim is a billionaire and has access to the best surgeons and chefs, as well as personal trainers in the world. Kim has a smokin’ hot body, which has us all inspired. However her diet and exercise routine have been the topic of speculation.

Kim lost 60 pounds over the last few months after having her son Saint. She attributes it to a strict Atkins Diet for this. According to her nutritionist the strict adherence to carbs helped her lose weight and keep it off.

Snacks

While most of Kim’s diet is clean and nutritious but she does indulge in a few junk food. The 42-year old recently made headlines after posting photos of her latest snack obsession on Twitter. The image included a bowl of Hummus and a bunch of carrots, celery and cucumber sticks, all on ice.

Like her sister Khloe in the pantry as well, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians actress stores her hummus and vegetables in glass jars. The jars are all neatly set up and stacked to an uniform height.

The snack drawer is stocked with a variety of organic, high-protein bars and snacks. There is also a jar of chia seeds that are neatly stacked in a row on the shelf. Kourtney is able to stay healthy by preparing meals like vegetable soup or turkey Chili on Sundays and then storing the leftovers for the next week. She also cooks up healthy versions of chicken tenders, which she stores in her freezer to make a quick meal during busy times.
